Self Guided Tours.  Coming in Spring of 2009, visitors can enjoy a brand new interpretive audio tour of Pinecrest Historical Village on a hand held audio device available at no extra charge.  Our "voices from the past" tour features information about each of our 25 buildings and stories of the people who lived and worked in themTo hear a sample of our new audio tour click here.

Rental Facilities

 

The Niles Church at Pinecrest Historical Village is nondenominational and may be used for weddings of all religions and creeds.

Daily, non-event Admission is free when you display an active membership card.  Follow the link

Gift Shop

 

 

The Village Gift Shop offers a wide variety of gift items and books on local and state history, pioneer life, ethnic groups, cookbooks, children's books and games.  Visitors are always welcome and browsing is encouraged!

   
Parking and Accessibility

 

 

 

 

Parking is free, with designated handicapped spaces, special event and group parking, plus bus turn-a-round.

You are free to tour the Village at your own pace, but your tour will require walking and climbing one or more steps to enter each building.  Benches are available throughout the Village for resting.  The Farm Machine Exhibit Building and Blacksmith Shop are wheelchair accessible.
